The 2018 Scottish Housing day is on Wednesday the 19th of September and its purpose is to raise awareness of the most recent developments in housing.
The Scottish Housing day gives people the opportunity to find resources that they need to make informed decisions about their housing options.
The theme this year is all about supporting young people, looking at ways we can put young people’s housing options at the forefront of Scotland’s economic, environmental and social policy. Not only will the Scottish Housing day provide information for young people it will also provide opportunities for the whole of Scotland.
There will be a whole host of events on Wednesday the 19th of September including a debate in the Scottish Parliament, a night-time reception in the Scottish Parliament to celebrate the day, and a session with Jim Strang who is the president of the Chartered Institute of Housing.
